Hemet's credit card acceptance now saves Time & Money

It used to take 2 persons 45 minutes per day to accept phone credit card payments.
Now with PSI's efficient Payment Connector it takes only seconds to accomplish the same task using CashierCentral. The fact the second staffer is NO LONGER REQUIRED makes a good situation even better.
Utility payments were previously subject to an almost 3% fee. Now with the PSI software those same credit card transactions quality for a flat 75 cent interchange fee.
Previously payments were accepted with the banks credit card hardware and then reentered at least one more time into the system that was being paid. Now with PSI one single entry is all that is required. The best feature according to Donna Rowley, Hemet Accounting Supervisor, is that when swiping a credit card, the name is automatically entered into the transaction history without additional key strokes.
Hemet has taken a quantum leap to reap the benefits of technology and plans to go even further by sending utility bills electronically and allowing residents to pay those bills via the internet.

Gardena Food, Wine and Cigar Festival Tickets available via the internet

In addition to facilitating ticketing for the annual Gardena Jazz Festivals, Progressive Solutions now allows city residents to purchase tickets online for the annual Gardena Food, Wine and Cigar Festivals. The web application integrates with CashierCentral, enables the city to limit ticket sales to the spaces available and offers reporting on ticket fulfillment.

Gardena CA passes on costs via convenience fees

CashierCentral now allows cities to accepts credit cards at no fee to the city by passing on fees to the consumer via council approved convenience fees.
Convenience fees are imposed for all credit cards tendered over the counter or via the internet (i.e. business license renewals).
PSI also offers the CashierCentral Application Programming Interface (API) which facilitates the imposition of convenience fees for all internet submitted credit card payments.

CashierCentral facilitates reduced credit card fees

PSI is pleased to announce native CashierCentral support for the Utility interchange rate.
Qualifying utility transactions may now benefit from a low flat rate instead of a percentage based fee. Savings may be as high as 66% of the prior percentage based transaction fees. We will be pleased to configure CashierCentral so your organization may reap the further benefits to which you are entitled.

Also anticipated in the near future is native support for implementing convenience fees to defray credit card processing costs. Such fees may be assessed on over the counter, telephone and internet based transactions.

Gardena Live with Custom Ticket Solution

Progressive Solutions has developed a flexible development API which allows for direct integration with our Payment Central (Cashier) software. This flexible library allows for PSI or city staff to rapidly develop applications using the PSI processing engine.

The City of Gardena contacted Progressive Solutions to develop a software application to allow city residents to purchase tickets online for their annual city jazz festival. The application was able to developed rapidly, revised, improved and deployed.

National City goes live with AlarmTrack

Today National City staff received go live training for their new False Alarm Billing application from Progressive Solutions. Staff greatly appreciates the similar look and feel to the other PSI applications currently in use namely: CodeTrack™, ParcelTrack™, PetTrack™, LicenseTrack™ and Ca$hierCentral.
In fact even though two days of training were scheduled, after only one day of training staff was confident enough to go live.
The extra day will be used to provide ad-hoc training as requested.
According to Staff, the system is light years ahead of their prior system (Encompass) and offers substantial efficiencies.

City of Highland Live with Check Imaging

After hardware installation and minimal training last Friday, City of Highland staff today began scanning all checks via Ca$hierCentral, their integrated central cashiering solution. Research to identify the original payee and the capability of transmitting checks electronically were the main reasons the City prompted by Terry Rhodes went with the PSI imaging solution.

January 2008 Credit Card Payments

In January 2008 over $500,000 in credit card transactions were processed using PSI's integrated credit card functionality. The number of transactions processed was in excess of 3100. Annualized payments are expected to exceed $6 million in just credit card payments alone.

PSI systems also process all the non credit card payments in our over 100 deployed applications used by over 350 users.
